StemCyte Family Cord Blood Bank is a part of a large, international operation that started off as a public cord bank and still processes and stores blood both for public and family use in the US and overseas.
Operating its own US laboratories, their International Cord Blood Center is located in Arcadia, CA, but it also facilitates the public cord bank in Taiwan, and has one of the most ethnically diverse collections of cord blood samples in the industry. To date, there have been more than 1200 transplants using StemCyte processed cord blood, and reportedly more going out each week.
