Customers can pre-pay for 18 or 10 years of storage in advance through the "Investor Plan", which provides a $750 or $100 discount respectively.

With it's head office and lab facilities located in central Vancouver, British Columbia, HealthCord is one of two established cord blood banks on the west coast in Canada (located between the Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Center and B.C. Children's and Women's Hospital).

Founded and led by Ph.D. scientists, HealthCord utilizes the latest in technologies and scientific advances in its practice including Closed-System Processing, Double-Extraction techniques, Computer-Operated Controlled-Rate Freezing and Vapor Phase Storage Tanks.

Two 5-year payment plans are available (each called the "Lifestyle Plan"), in which clients can distribute the initial processing and 10 or 18 years of storage costs over 5 annual payments at 3% financing.
